Docs The Locker

Reviewing and removing Locker overrides

On Installed, click the wand button in the toolbar (tooltip: Locker overrides). The Locker Overrides window lists everything the Locker has applied, across every hero, in one place.

The number on the button is how many overrides are applied right now.

Use it when you have applied things across a dozen heroes over a few months and want to see the damage, or undo it.

Why a separate list

Locker overrides do not appear in your mod list. They are not mods, they take no load-order slot, and they do not count toward your mod limit. See what the Locker is.

That is handy right up until you want to find them all. Without this window, an ability color you applied to one hero months ago only shows up if you open that hero. This is the inventory.

What is in it

Four tabs, one per override type, each with a count:

  • Hero Cards: the applied art for each hero, and the mod it came from.
  • Ability Sounds: each hero and ability, the mod the sound came from, and a preview player when the mod has one.
  • Ability Colors: the actual pick, so a rainbow reads as a rainbow with its rotation rather than as a row of numbers. A Trippy ability color is listed here too.
  • Trippy Skins: the body and gun paint, with its style, strength, and whether it hits the body, the gun, or both.

Removing

  1. Open the tab.
  2. Click Remove on a row. On Hero Cards, click the X on the card instead.

Remove all cards (or sounds, colors, trippy skins) at the bottom clears the whole tab at once. It only touches the tab you are on, so clearing every hero card leaves your ability sounds alone.

Removing never deletes the mod an override came from. It only takes the override off.

Tuning sounds without going back to the hero

Each applied ability sound keeps its Volume (-12 to +12 dB) and Pitch (0.5x to 2x) sliders here, so you can fix a sound that turned out too loud without opening that hero’s Locker page. Reset puts both back.

Changes save on their own a moment after you let go. You will see Saving… while it works.

Adding is still done in the Locker

This window reviews, tunes, and removes. It does not apply anything new.

To add or change an override, click Add or change in the Locker at the bottom (or Open the Locker on an empty tab), then open the hero.

Restart to hear or see removals

Same rule as applying. Removing an override takes effect the next time the game starts, not in a running game.

Launch Vanilla does not turn overrides off. If you want a game with none of them, remove them here first.
